We ask for your patience and understanding. You may find if helpful to phone the surgery to find out if the Doctor is running late.<br><br>Please advise reception when making your appointment if you require an interpreter service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-custom-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\"><strong>Urgent Appointments<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We do take urgent appointments on the day, however as we are often fully booked, we ask that you phone at 8:30am on the day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We only have a few urgent appointments available per session, so a priority system must be in place. We ask that offence not be taken if the receptionist or nurse asks the general nature of your problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Walk-in patients will be triaged and given an appointment appropriate to the urgency of the problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\"><strong>Cancellation Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Belmore Road Family Practice is a busy practice and our appointments are in high demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This Cancellation Policy is designed to ensure fairness to both patients who are kept waiting for appointments as well as our doctors who are striving to meet the demand for their services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your appointment time is reserved especially for you.\u00a0 We understand that at times appointments need to be changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under this cancellation policy, we appreciate your co-operation as below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A minimum of 3 hours notice, prior to your scheduled appointment time, is required for cancellation. This allows other patients to be contacted in adequate time to be seen in that space.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Patients not attending or cancelling their appointment within 3 hours of their scheduled appointment time will be charged a non-attendance fee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The non-attendance\/cancellation fee is currently $50<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please note no subsequent appointments will be booked until the non-attendance fee is settled<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An invoice will be sent to you and can be paid over the phone by calling one of our receptionists.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We ask for your assistance and adherence to our cancellation policy to help us provide a better service to our patients and community.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-custom-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\"><strong>After Hours Arrangements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All out of hours emergencies will be attended to by contacting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>GP Access Afterhours 1300 130 147.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-custom-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\"><strong>Home visits<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Home visits are available to patients at Nursing Homes and Private Residents (within 10kms) at the Doctors discretion.
